Nu är en del av sträckan som vi har jobbat färdigvandrad - 32 km totalt! För de som inte har testat det här jobbet kan det verka lustigt att "bara" ha gått 32 km på ett stort antal veckor totalt. Men betänk att det oftast inte är färdigtrampade skogsstigar som beträds. Mestadels är det högt gräs som snor sig runt fötterna, rötter man inte ser som man lätt snubblar över eller min "favorit", blöta hål. Så det tar ju sin tid. Nu är alltså en del av en längre sträcka färdig. Under tiden har min chef/vän och jag bott i samma stuga. Jag har haft tid att fila på de tre bilderna som ska vara med i en särskild novell jag har arbetat med ett tag.
I Småland är det mängder av sten. Överallt...

Lite skissande om kvällen. När vi inte kollade på The Simpsons.

Fin svamp. Tror att färgen säger; "ät inte mig!"

Men nu är jag nog färdig med bilderna. De ska läsas in i datorn och sedan placeras i texten på något bra ställe. Jag strävade nog inte helt efter perfektion, men absolut föreställande. Vi tittade lite på kopparstick och det var lite inspirerande. Kanske jag tog efter lite? Det var inte helt lätt med tusch, men det duger gott för mina bilder. Det inte helt "perfekta" känns som en bra ledstjärna för historien också.

Sedan ta sikte på försiktig skuggning med tusch. / Then start to carefully ink everything.
Efter allt är fasat ihop gäller det att finna utlopp för publicering. Jag ska dubbelkolla med olika förlag som jag tittade till förut, få se om den håller. Annars kan man ju testa med e-böcker genom andra medier. Håll koll på bloggen för att se vad som händer. :-)

Now a part of the distance we have been working on finished as far as walking goes - 32 km in total! For those who have not tried this job it might come across as funny to "just" have walked 32 km's in the duration of a large number of weeks in total. But consider this, that the terrain more often than not is not your usual pre-prepped forest path. Mostly it is tall grass that twists around your feet, roots that are not visible and which are easily a tripping wire or my "favourite", wet holes. So it does take some time. So one part of the distance is finished. During that time my boss/friend and I have lived in the same cabin. I have had time to complete the three images that will be a part of a certain novel I have been working on for a while.
Kall morgon. Två grader bara. / Cold morning. Just two degrees.
Varma drycker smakar bäst utomhus. / Warm beverages tastes better outdoor.
Klar. / Finished.
But now I'm finished with the images. They are to be scanned to the CPU and then be placed in the text in some good spot. I didn't strive for excellence, but certainly representative. We did some checking out at copperplate art and that was quite inspiring. Perhaps I acted the copycat a little bit? It wasn't entirely easy with ink, but good enough for my images. The not "perfect" felt like a good lodestar for the story too,

After all the parts are assembled it is a future need to find an outlet for publishing. I will double-check with different publishing companies that I have looked up previously, to see if it matches the standards. Check the blog to see what happens. :-)
