Målares rester. / Painter's residues.

Nyår firades i Hälsingland i år. Nu skriver vi 2016 ett tag. Varje gång som jag är i föräldrahemmet och rotar bland mina grejer som jag har i förvaring så hittar jag ofta något lite äldre som jag har gjort - ritat eller målat. Så också denna gång.

Jag har rätt många skisser på samma tema som denna. Undrar om det står för något speciellt?

Akryl på grovt papper limmat på en tjock träskiva. Dålig idé, för nu är den tung.

En lite större tavla hade jag ställt bakom pianot i finrummet (vardagsrummet) och det är ju tydligt att inspirationen har kommit från C.S. Lewis och hans värld Narnia. Den måste nog placeras i tid någon gång då jag hjälpte Tomten mellan 2000-2005, då filmerna började komma om Lewis böcker. Den är rätt stor så jag undrar hur jag tänkte där? Jag blev lite sugen på att kanske fullfölja den men  vi får se hur det går att frakta ner den till Skåne. Väl hemma i Landskrona igen, undrar då hur jag ska förvara den när den väl blir färdig?

Jag har inte testat vattenfärg på riktigt sedan slutet av 1990-talet.

Då jag tittade som hastigt mellan några masonitskivor hittade jag en till. Här var det en bit duk på metervara som jag hade klippt till och tejpat upp. Antagligen betyder det att det är kort efter tiden på Viebäcks FHSK i Småland 1998-1999. Motivet här är säkert inspirerat efter något tema utifrån Bibeln. Den har också potential. Jag behöver bara återupptäcka vad jag tänkte då eller förnya tanken bakom.

New Year was celebrated in Helsingia this year. Let's all write 2016 for a while. Each time I am at my parental home and go through stuff that I have boxed away I often find things that is a bit older that I have made - drawn and painted, that is. So also this time.

Gamla tuschskisser ger mig en hel del inspiration i nutiden.

A bigger painting I had placed behind the piano in the living room and it's quite apparent that the inspiration has come from C.S. Lewis and his world of Narnia. It must be placed in the time-frame some time when I helped Santa between 2000-2005, when the movie-adaptations of Lewis' books begun showing at the cinema. It's rather large so I wonder what I was thinking? I do find it in me to complete it but we'll see how that comes around freighting it down to Scania. While back in Landskrona, how am I supposed to store it once it is completed?

When I looked around among a couple of masonite-plates I found another. Here it was a piece of canvas sold by the meter that I had cut out and placed on the plate. I would suggest that is shortly after the time at Viebäck Folk High School in Småland 1998-1999. The theme here is surely inspired by the Bible. It too has some potential. I need only to re-discover what I was thinking at the time or renew the thought behind it.
