Eld. / Fire.

Eld. Det är inte helt lätt att skapa i bildform. En salig blandning av vitt, rött, gult och brunt i olika nyanser. När det görs "rätt" tycker jag att det är vackert att se på. En regel man kan ha är att det är vitt i eldens centrum, där det är som varmast. Sedan får man arbeta sig ut med gult, brandgult mot en röd och till sist en svag brun nyans. 

Just nu jobbar jag med en bild där elden är lite rörlig. Centrum för elden är faktiskt en kvinna (japp, serietidningsvärlden igen). Jag håller på att lösa det men det är en del kvar att göra. I allt har målningen fått sig sitt andra färglager. Efter det brukar detaljer synas tydligare. Den här tavlan är några procent beställningsjobb men framförallt en julklapp (ingen fara, personen i fråga tittar inte till bloggen så ofta!). 

Fire. It is not easy to create in an image. A mixture of white, red, yellow and brown in different hues. When it is done "right" it is very beautiful to look at. A rule of thumb is to use white at the core of the fire, where it is the warmest. Then you get to work your way out with yellow, orange towards a red and finally a slight brown hue.

At the moment I am working on an image where it moves. The centre of the fire is actually a woman (yes, back to the comic-book world again). I am solving it but there are a few things to get clear. All in all the painting got its second layer of colour. After that I usually put on some details. This painting is a couple precentage comission but above all a Christmas present (no worries, the person in question rarely checks in on this blog!).
