Ensamspelare. / Solo player.

Det har skett en renässans i spelvärlden.  Britten Joe Dever konstruerade under 1980-talet en bokserie och tillika spel under namnet Ensamma Vargen. Själv missade jag det fenomenet under dess storhetstid men kom över en eller två böcker i vuxen ålder.

 Del 2. / Part 2.

Nu har de börjat komma nya böcker i fräscht utformade men med en vink åt sina retrorötter. Det som är fantastiskt är att de låter läsaren vara hjälten och alla val har konsekvenser. Precis som det är i de flesta större moderna spel till spelkonsoler, med andra ord (Skyrim, Dragon Age osv). Allt man behöver är ett par speciella tärningar, rollformulär och boken.

För mig med viljan att spela rollspel/brädspel men inte hittar personer att spela med är de här böckerna perfekta! Hett tips för ensamspelare.

There has been reinassance in the gaming world. British Joe Dever constructed a book-series as well as being a game in the 1980's under the name Lone Wolf. I missed out on the phenomena during its heyday but aquired a couple of books as an adult.

Now new books are being printed in a fresh format but still being true to its retro-roots. What is sheer fantastic is that the books allow the reader to be the hero and each action has a consequence. Just like it is in all the modern major games for gaming consoles, in other words (Skyrim, Dragon Age etc). All you need is a couple of special dice, character sheet and one of those books.

For me, having the will to play roleplaying/board-games but not people to play with, these books are spot on! A hot tip for solo players.
